LEGO Rock Band is a Go

The rumors are finally confirmed — The multi-platform LEGO themed Rock Band riff is going to be released this holiday season. The game which will allow you to literally build your band from the ground up, will probably be fun, but will most definitely be adorable. Details are still comings in but it looks like it will include the following songs:

  • Good Charlotte – “Boys and Girls”
  • Europe – “The Final Countdown”
  • Blur – “Song 2”
  • Pink – “So What”
  • Carl Douglas – “Kung Fu Fighting”

LEGO Rock Band is being created by TT Games in a partnership with Harmonix and will be published by Warner Bros. Entertainment. Their will be a lot of buzz about this game and I will post more details as I hear them.

The LEGO games are great. Just picked up Star Wars Complete Saga for PS3 at the very attractive price of $19.99. I played LEGO Batman last fall and it was equally entertaining. I’ve still yet to play the Indiana Jones one, though. Crystal Skull left that bad a taste in my mouth, even though I know that film is not featured in the game. :(
