Smartbunny posted some great silent footage of one my favorite malls, the Bergen Mall in Paramus, NJ. The Bergen Mall has always been a throwback. You should have seen it in the 1970s and 1980s. With its hanging lamps and color fountain, it was indescribably beautiful. That era of malls is gone now and will never be seen again. Still this video captures a little slice of that lost Americana. I have some photos I took of the mall back in the 90s. If I can dig them up I will scan and post them.
