Some great DVDs came out this week, including 2 classic Disney titles:
Howard the Duck
– For under 9 bucks how could you not pick up this campy classic.
Pinocchio (2-Disc 70th Anniversary Platinum Edition)
– A big fan of Pinocchio as I mentioned in my review the other day. Got to get this now or you will have to wait a couple of years.
Escape to Witch Mountain Special Edition
– Loved the “Witch Mountain” flicks when I was a kid. Save yourself the hassle and get the DVD instead of seeing the remake.
Batman Anthology (Batman / Batman Returns / Batman Forever / Batman & Robin) [Blu-ray]
– Enjoyed the first movie, was OK with the second and so on and so on.
Get Smart: Season 2
– Great retro television. Not sure why they did not make the recent movie version of Max as bumbling.
Family Ties: The Fifth Season
– By the 5th season, the show was still pretty strong, but starting to fracture. I would say this is the last solid season of Family Ties.
Woody Woodpecker Favorites
– 20 cartoons from everyone favorite instigator.
WWE: Summerslam – The Complete Anthology, Vol. 2 1993-1997
– Relive 1990s Wrestling glory.
