Some great DVDs came out this week:
My Two Dads: Season One – Paul Reiser AND Greg Evigan – what’s not to love? I watched the first season of this show, so its the only one I can recommend.
Treasures IV: American Avant-Garde Film, 1947-1986 – Show your friends how artsy you are by bringing up Ken Jacobs’ “Little Stabs at Happiness” at your next dinner party.
Smurfs, Vol. 1 – 5 episodes of the Smurfs on DVD. What else do you need?
Hunchback of Notre Dame (1982) – In this 1982 TV version of the classic story, Anythony Hopkins plays Quasimodo. This is a pretty good version that follows the book rather more closely then other versions.
The Return of Man from U.N.C.L.E. – The last screen appearance of Napoleon Solo and Illya Kuryakin.

Is it Smurfs Vol. 2? I bought my sister vol. 1 almost a year ago.
Could even be 3 maybe?
That was The Smurfs – Season One, Vol. One that came out last year. This is a standalone disc “True Blue Friends”.
I *almost* bought Smurfs at Best Buy last night. But instead, I walked out with nothing. =(
I’m so indecisive.
They are hard to resist. You are a stong man.
Gotcha. It will be interesting to see what this Smurfs movie they’re working on will be like. I’m guessing horrible.
That is my guess as well. I cannot see how they can make it relevant to both adults and kids unless they go down a Shrek-like path.
