If you are not familiar with it, desktopgaming has a large collection of retro themed wallpapers all done in miniature. You can see the Punchout example from above. I am a big fan because the smallness of the graphics adds some extra flair without the clutter of distracting images. Plus the horizontal ones looked pretty natural when mirrored on a multi-monitor setup. They had some server issues (hacked), but after a little downtime, they are back online
