- Cocoa Krispies – King of the Spokes-Character? – Cocoa Krispies has had many spokes-characters over the years. I am not sure, but it may be have one of the highest mascot count changes in cereal history, with a total of 9 changes.
- “Weird Al” Yankovic’s First National Television Appearance – On April 21, 1981 Alfred Matthew Yankovic’s made his first national television performance on The Tomorrow Show with Tom Snyder.
- What is an Atari Democrat?? – I was reading an older article about technology and i saw the term “Atari Democrat”. From the context I kind of deduced it was someone who is pro-technology, but I had never heard it before.
- Rock out to Guns-N-Roses with D-Pad Hero – You like Guitar Hero, but want to play it old skool? Then may I suggest a little D-Pad Hero for the NES?
- DEVO Performs Live on ABC’s Fridays in 1981 – DEVO rocked the ABC sketch show Fridays multiple time, today we look at their 1981 appearance where they performed not one, not two, but five songs!
