Pac-Man Fever Ad

I wish I had this ad when I original posted about Pac-man Fever. Oh well better late then never. Check out this sweet ad for what was the hottest video game novelty song of the 1980s, Pac-Man Fever.

Next week I will have to post “Do the Donkey Kong”. Stay tuned…

I guess I was oblivious to this album at the time of it’s release. I sure could have used that inner sleave with the 5 winning Pac-Man patterns. Left with no such guidance, my games were sadly abbreviated.

  2. I bought the 45rpm single as the album was out of my budget. VERY catchy tunes on this album. A nice example of sampling in music from 1981.

I remember wondering how in the world they got those electronic video game sounds into the organic beat of the music. It was still mysterious then!
