When I talk to older people about the 70s they all have a tendency to say it was a blur and now I can see why. After waking up in a strange man’s bed one morning you could, that very night, drop that guy for a guy who looks exactly like the old one! Now THAT can make for a confusing time. This commercial is an advertisement for what? Casual sex? Disco music? Diet pills? No its for a shirt from that mecca of cool JC Pennys.
Don’t these people all look like those haircut models that I would see in the hairstyle books at the beauty salons in the 1980s?

Chams and Merry Go-Round… yep, I was a victim. I had a few Chams shirts, but the one that sticks out in my memory was the black and white one with the removable sleeves and puffy shoulders. The other two had those flop-over collars and mesh underneath.
Awesome! Maybe its time for a Chams Shirt revival!?
