Anyone up for a game? I love strategy board games, but for some reason I could never find anyone who wanted to play Risk with me when I was a kid. This, of course, lead to the retrospectively depressive act of solo board gaming.
Just to paint an accurate picture. I would set the game up and the kitchen table and actually switch seats as I played. Now I have artificial computer friends to play against. I am not sure I would even know what to do if I had to sit across from someone and play Risk nowadays. Probably lose quickly and challenge them to a game of Carcassonne. Where I pwn!

I have a 1964 copy of this game in my closet. I’m waiting for the day when my kids are old enough to play!

Get ‘em started early. That’s the best way.
