Don’t be fooled. Book I was good, but Book II represents the meaty war years in the North and South Trilogy. Good stuff. Watching this really makes me miss the miniseries as event programming. Good thing HBO is keeping the dream alive with “John Adams” which will premier this Sunday. Revolutionary War + Paul Giamatti = Awesome. I cannot wait.
