When this Genesis ad ran I was drooling with anticipation. Stereo sound, great games and Modem play. A Game modem on a console! Sadly the Telegenesis was pretty much a no go from the get go. Still this ad sums up the future of gaming – stereo sound, high def graphics and online play – and this was back in 1989.

Sega ruled. I still find myself looking longingly at the DC on the shelf in my closet, wishing for more.
