We Will Return After These Messages – Network Bumpers, Promos and Interstitials

I love to collect TV network bumpers, promos and interstitials. They are the little tags or mini commercials that you would often see scattered about between regular commercials. On Saturday morning they most often urged you to hang around, because more fun was just around the bend.

Sadly they are not as common as they used to be, but occasionally a network, especially on late night shows, will flash one. Here are a collection of some of my favorites. I could list them all day. If you would like to see more or have a weird request send me an email or post a comment. (I guess my family watched a lot of CBS back in the day because I gravitate towards them),

Oh man, that last one from ABC is a classic! As a child, bumpers and promos were very annoying to me, but I love each and every one of them today (from my childhood, all new ones still suck).

Seeing those ABC bumpers puts me in the mood for the Bugs & Tweety Show and Pee-Wee Herman.

Haha..I do a Saturday morning cartoon thing for my friends one Friday a month. We do it on Friday night. I try and assemble a two hour block of Saturday morning programming complete with commercial and bumpers.

-Yeah I am just that cool-
